Currently on view at Arsham/Fieg Gallery in New York City is artist So Youn Lee’s exhilarating solo exhibition, “Spectruma.”
From the gallery: “‘Spectruma’ is a body of work inspired by how a single idea can evolve into many different thoughts and evoke many emotions. Just like a color can change into another. Until an emotion is defined by the name, there is a sense of uncertainty and slight excitement of what it might be. It doesn’t necessarily have to be positive but to have some expectation about the discovery of what. I want to paint the feeling of soothing moments by calming the hectic spark of thoughts and describe the ambiguity and tender chaos.”
If you’re in the area, this exhibition should absolutely be sought out.
